Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui hubungan antara parasocial relationships dan psychological well-being pada emerging adulthood penggemar K-Pop di JABODETABEK. Penelitian menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan desain korelasional pada 167 penggemar K-Pop berusia 18–29 tahun yang telah menjadi penggemar minimal 6 bulan dan berdomisili di Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang, dan Bekasi, dengan teknik purposive sampling; data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner daring. Psychological well-being diukur menggunakan Psychological Well-Being Short Scale (Ryff & Keyes, 1995; adaptasi Humaidah & Mulyono, 2025), sedangkan parasocial relationships diukur menggunakan Multiple Parasocial Relationships Scale (MPR-S; Tukachinsky, 2010) yang diadaptasi ke bahasa Indonesia. Data dianalisis menggunakan korelasi Pearson dengan signifikansi one-tailed. Hasil menunjukkan tidak terdapat hubungan signifikan antara kedua variabel (r = 0,025; p = 0,374; p > 0,05), dengan arah hubungan positif yang sangat rendah, sehingga hipotesis penelitian ditolak. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa intensitas parasocial relationships tidak berkaitan signifikan dengan tingkat psychological well-being pada penggemar K-Pop emerging adulthood di JABODETABEK.
