Menanam Nilai Sejak Dini: Proses Pembentukan Karakter Anak dalam Kehidupan Sehari-hari

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan proses pembentukan karakter anak usia dini melalui aktivitas keseharian di lingkungan sekolah. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus di RA Baiturrahman Rembiga, Mataram, Nusa Tenggara Barat. Subjek penelitian meliputi kepala sekolah, guru, dan 20 anak kelompok A dan B. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi berupa modul ajar, catatan anekdot, serta lembar penilaian perkembangan harian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembiasaan nilai melalui kegiatan rutin harian seperti doa sebelum dan sesudah kegiatan, hafalan surat pendek, kegiatan keteladanan, praktik kedisiplinan, serta kolaborasi guru dan orang tua berkontribusi terhadap perkembangan karakter anak dalam aspek disiplin, tanggung jawab, kepedulian sosial, dan kemandirian. Data observasi menunjukkan sebagian besar anak berada pada kategori Berkembang Sesuai Harapan (BSH) dalam aspek nilai agama dan sosial-emosional. Proses internalisasi nilai berlangsung melalui pembiasaan konsisten, keteladanan, penguatan positif, dan integrasi nilai dalam kurikulum tematik. Penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa kehidupan sehari-hari anak merupakan ruang strategis dalam menanamkan karakter secara holistik sejak usia dini.
