Implementasi Metode Reward Dalam Memotivasi Menghafal Kosakata Bahasa Arab Pada Anak di TPQ Raudhatul Qur'an Bambu Apus

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi metode reward dalam memotivasi anak menghafal kosakata bahasa Arab di TPQ Raudhatul Qur’an Bambu Apus Pamulang Barat Tangerang Selatan. Latar belakang penelitian didasarkan pada rendahnya motivasi belajar anak dalam menghafal mufrodat, yang berdampak pada keterbatasan penguasaan dasar bahasa Arab sebagai fondasi pemahaman Al-Qur’an dan ilmu keislaman. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi partisipatif, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian meliputi guru TPQ dan anak didik yang terlibat dalam pembelajaran kosakata bahasa Arab. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan metode reward, baik dalam bentuk pujian verbal, hadiah sederhana, maupun penghargaan simbolik, mampu meningkatkan motivasi, antusiasme, dan partisipasi aktif anak dalam menghafal kosakata bahasa Arab. Metode reward juga menciptakan suasana pembelajaran yang lebih menyenangkan, interaktif, dan kondusif, serta memperkuat hubungan emosional antara guru dan peserta didik. Namun, penelitian ini juga menemukan potensi risiko ketergantungan anak terhadap reward apabila tidak diterapkan secara proporsional. Oleh karena itu, metode reward disarankan untuk digunakan secara terencana dan seimbang, serta dikombinasikan dengan strategi pembelajaran yang menumbuhkan motivasi intrinsik dan nilai spiritual dalam pembelajaran bahasa Arab.
